Burgers, Burgers, Burgers!

You can’t go wrong with a juicy, delicious, thick burger you can sink your teeth into. Skip the prepackaged patties, It’s always better when you make your own then you know exactly what’s going into it and believe me when I say, it’s worth the extra effort! 
 
This recipe is super easy and fast. You can either cook the patties in a frying pan or on the BBQ, both ways will turn out amazing! Now, as for topping you can really add anything that you like on your burgers. You can even add chips, as they add that extra crunch with every delicious bite. 
 
Burger Bun: Brush each side with butter and toast it in a frying pan over low to medium heat, only takes a few mins to toast.

Ready in: 28 mins 
 
 
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
1 Onion
4 Garlic cloves
1 Handful of Spinach
1/2 cup Oatmeal 
1 Egg
2 tbsp BBQ sauce 
1/2 tsp Paprika 
1/2 tsp Italian spice 
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Parsley 
1 tsp Greek spice 
1 tsp No salt seasoning 
1 tbsp Olive oil
 
Sauce:
Mix together Mayo and Buffalo hot sauce.
 
Toppings: 
Bacon
Cheese
Lettuce 
Avocado 
Tomato 
Onion
1. In a food processor add oatmeal and blend until fine, flour texture then set aside. 
 
2. Add spinach to the food processor and “plus” until finely chopped. 
 
3. Peel the outer layer off the onion then dice into small pieces. 
 
4. In a large bowl add all the ingredients except for the oil. With your hands mix everything until fully combined. Form mixture into 8 burger patties. 
 
5. Preheat frying pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Place 4 patties in the frying pan and cook 5-7 minutes each side or until your liking. Then repeat with the remaining 4 burger patties. Or you can BBQ all 8 at the same time on medium-high heat. 
 
6. During the last minute of cooking, add sliced cheese to each patty and allow to melt. 
Once cooked remove from heat.
 
7. Spread mayo mixture over the inside of each bun. Place one patty on each bun bottom and top the patty with your favourite toppings!
