The NUB 460 Cameroon Review by Des Hammond

NUB CAMEROON 460

Vitola: Nub
Length: 4″
Ring Gauge: 60
Country of Origin: Nicaragua
Wrapper: Cameroon
Binder: Nicaragua

Pre-Light

Looking at this medium Brown wrapper there are a couple of good sized veins & seams that are only visible due to the vein placement. It has a double cap and the aroma is of cedar coming from the wrapper with spicy notes off of the foot. It is a beautiful cigar from Oliva.

First-Burn

Now lighted there is that cedar note from the pre-light. It is accompanied by raisin with a very mild hint of spice towards the back of my pallet which sits there nicely. Retro-haling gives this a pronounced black pepper taste and taste profile staying on point.
Second-Third

As the second-third begins, the cedar remains present and following almost straight away is the nuttiness and black pepper in the background on this medium-bodied NUB Cameroon. The mustiness is still there along with small hits of raisin and creamy smoke. The spicy pepper is still present on the retrohale.
Final-Third

The final-third (the business end) of this NUB Cameroon cigar is still providing an easy draw. The ash has continued to fall in large clumps and smoke output is exactly how I like it, filling the room with an incredible aroma. I am still getting more of the mustiness along with the black pepper and cedar, however the raisin note has now disappeared in the transitions. This has had faultless burn with no and has stayed alight the whole time with no touch-ups required. A definite every day cigar with a duration that around 1hr 15 minutes
